Dirty Ernie: A Team Player
To get the right shot, Ernie sat in a rather uncomfortable position for quite some time, and all of us took turns doing a balancing act on this structure just long enough to get the shot. What isn’t pictured in this photo are the people driving by and laughing as we took turns falling off! For the love of the photo…. Love wins.

Promo Shoots: Trying to Look Cool Without Our Instruments
it’s probably safe to assume that photographers enjoy shooting live band photos WAY more than shooting band promo shots because they are shooting us in our element, and there’s no need to give any kind of direction. They probably aren’t going to tell Chris in the middle of a song that he needs to move the mic away from his mouth a bit so that his face is more clear in their photo. (that would be hilarious though). Once we move into promo shot territory, we are now in the photographer’s element, and we are without instruments in our hands, feeling way less cool and awkward. How many poses can a guy do, and why is it that when someone picks up a camera, you instantly forget what to do with your hands? Luckily, we had a great photographer who put up with us and helped us to look hopefully somewhat cool.

Candid Shots Are The Best
Whether anybody else likes this photo or not, we don’t really care because of how genuine it is. This isn’t a “candid” shot like the selfies some people take where you’re just like “does this chick think we don’t know she has been fake laughing for the last 45 minutes by herself to get that shot”? We had a bunch of outtakes that were similar to this because after trying to look cool and “sexy” for the camera for too long, our doofy selves inevitably come through to remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. Whatever your favorite band may be, more than likely, most of their photos turn out similar to this. They can scroll through all the outtakes and spot several pictures where a bandmate decided to shout out a random obscenity mid-photo to break the monotony, and make everyone laugh in a picture that you weren’t supposed to smile for at all. That is likely what happened in this picture!
We’re So High In This Photo
We were just hopped up on life in this photo. Our career is really elevating to new heights. It’s Leaps and bounds from our previous shoot. The world said “jump,” and we said, “sorry, it’s hard to hear you from way the hell up here.” All kidding aside, this was like the 102nd take and we were out of breath after we finally got this one. We definitely had to rise to the occasion.

“Gotta Put Your Heart First”
It’s funny to be able to look at this picture and know exactly which song we were playing and the exact moment during the song that it was taken. There is a lyric in the bridge of our song “No One’s Stopping You” that says “don’t ever forget what you are worth, you’ve gotta put your hear first.” The first show we played that song, Chris (our Singer) made that same heart shape that’s in this photo with his hands, and the whole crowd put their heart hands up as well. Ever since then, it has joined of caught on at our shows and it’s a really an awesome sight to see.,
Spencer Kelly AKA Meat Paws
There are a lot of inside nicknames floating around our band, and one of them is Spencer’s “Meat Paws.” If you’ve ever been to one of our shows, you know that this guy can shred a guitar, and he can give some credit to those massive sausages attached to his limbs. We all love to hear him play that guitar, but no one really stops to think about the guitars feelings one bit. Those poor strings take punishment night after night under the girth and relentlessness of those puppies. But let’s be real, if a guitar had feelings, and wasn’t an inanimate object that can’t have emotions, it would without a doubt be a masochist and love nothing more than to have meat paws all over it. Specifically, Spencer’s meat paws.
